- About This Page - Unique World Wide Opals, LLC and this website are where I present to the public my products and any specimens for sale. In my store you will find unique opals I am sourcing from all around the world or have mined myself. Here you can find opals unlike you’ll likely see presented anywhere else. Volcanic Opals seen here are likely exotic and varied in their formations and characteristics and are often fossil opals. Some of the fossil opals are Sedimentary and like the Volcanic Opal specimens, I cut and polish them in hybrid forms of partially raw and partially cut in order to present their beauty appropriately. All opals shown on this website are natural. I may enhance these opals’ natural beauty by cutting them or taking an approach akin to my experience in a laboratory. I am and will continue to push the boundaries of what the world currently knows about Volcanic Opals. If you wish to seek an opinion on methods or practices seen here, please seek it from someone who specializes in Volcanic Opals, like myself. Few people in the world of opals have been, or will be exposed to the practices, methods and techniques being showcased here, or that were employed to bring these opals to you. Thanks for your interest!

Creating Friendships & More! Working with the Young Guns from Outback Opal Hunters

Creating Friendships & More! Working with the Young Guns from Outback Opal Hunters

This week I can finally announce publicly a project that has been in the works for a while..

A partnership with the Young Guns Mining Crew from Australia, on the Discovery Channel’s TV show Outback Opal Hunters!

I have been talking to the Young Guns for about a year now and together we are looking at the potential of expanding their market in the United States. I am going to help the Young Guns in this endeavor. You may see new items in the shop periodically, that are items that The Young Guns and Myself are bringing to the public.

This is a big step for a shiny new future

I soooo want to go to Australia someday and get my hands in the dirt with The Young Guns and other Opal Miners! I want to mine opals with them! Someday I hope to be sharing stories with you, of journeys to distant lands with Opal Miners.

Here’s a picture of this first project together with The Young Guns. Paydirt Bags of opal in host material, directly from their mine in White Cliffs, Australia! You can get your hands on some of the action!
